Lupus, vitamin D linked by Oklahoma scientists
State study could further therapies

Published: August 5, 2009

For people genetically predisposed to lupus, a deficiency of vitamin D may be a catalyst for developing the disease, say scientists at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

The research by Dr. Judith James and graduate student Lauren Cole could be useful in treating lupus, which has no cure and strikes up to 2 million Americans.

"Vitamin D could be beneficial to lupu… Continue

Doctors eye fresh approaches to cutaneous lupus

Doctors eye fresh approaches to cutaneous lupus

Aug 4, 2009

Many different approaches are used to treat the clinical symptoms of cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE), both topically and systemically. No not the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I wish. It's Depeche Mode. Which will be in 4 days. I am getting really antsy. My friend from Sarasota bought the tickets. The only thing is I have to drive down and get him and drive up to the concert and then drive back. Which I will not be using my car. I am renting one. Less wear and tear on mine.
Gee the dog must be protecting u.
Thats good about volenteering on Sat at the desk. It will get a foot in the door. I am deeply thinking of going back to school also. The thought of going back scares me. I have not touched college at all. Its been 15 years since I went to school. I was helping a co-worker with her science homework and was having a ball doing it. I thought ok I know this is high school can I do college level? Hmm....
Ok..gotta go..I have a weird shift. I work 1-8. At least I am not closing.
Take care..
