Advocacy: Inspiring, Empowering and Educating other Patients!

I'm a patient advocate that networks with other Lupus patient advocates with the commonality of raising public awareness and most importantly, to inspire, educate and empower other patients. Though Lupus knows no limits, the spirit of advocacy reaches hearts and changes the lives of people. I suspect that when we reach out to another fellow sufferer the universe must feel it. I know that my life and body are not the same, but all of it has been worth it, as it enables me to help others. Inwardly, I am sustained by a spirit of determination and courage that I have been so blessed to have received by the living and breathing examples of other Lupus Warriors. I am a Massachusetts transplant residing in N. California. I have over two decades of community service work for various non-profit groups. I have been a small business owner since 1992. I am also a HELLP Syndrome and Preeclampsia survivor and the mother to a thriving nine year old daughter.

Good to see you all! The summer has been ok. Hard to occupy two little boys and a baby, but were muddling along. Daddy comes home next week! (YEAH!!) Although it will be alittle hectic for a while. A wedding in San Antonio, the back home for a few days, then off to see my family in Myrtle beach, SC. None of them but my mom have even seen Charlie. I am so excited I can't stand it. Then rush back home in time for school to start. Whoosh!
